- Profile and résumé data you add to tailor and submit applications.
- Application activity, including the jobs you apply to and their status.
- Website content from job boards and application pages where you run Applyr.
- Optional Gmail data, only if you connect Gmail for application tracking.

We use information to provide and improve Applyr, specifically to:
- Detect and fill application forms and submit applications you request.
- Tailor your answers and documents to each role.
- Track application status and surface it to you.

We do not transfer user data to third parties except as needed for approved and disclosed purposes, including:
- Cloud hosting and database providers used to run Applyr
- Storage providers used to store user-uploaded or generated files
- Email delivery providers used for account or password-reset emails
- AI or language-model providers used to provide requested Applyr features
- Google APIs, when a user chooses to connect Gmail
- Security, monitoring, logging, or infrastructure providers used to operate and protect the service
- Legal, compliance, or safety disclosures when required by law or necessary to protect users, Applyr, or others
Service providers are permitted to process user data only for the purpose of providing services to Applyr and not for their own advertising or unrelated purposes.
5. Google API and Gmail Limited Use Disclosure
If you connect Gmail or another Google service, Applyr's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Applyr uses Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the product, such as post-application email tracking and application status updates. Applyr does not use Google user data for advertising. Applyr does not sell Google user data. Applyr does not allow humans to read Google user data except where necessary for security, legal compliance, account support requested by the user, or to investigate abuse.
Applyr's use and transfer of information received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Chrome Web Store User Data Disclosure
Applyr handles user data consistently with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies and the disclosures provided in the Chrome Web Store Developer Dashboard.
Applyr may collect or process the following Chrome Web Store data categories:
- Personally identifiable information
- Authentication information
- Personal communications, only when optional Gmail tracking is enabled
- Web history related to job application workflow pages
- User activity inside Applyr workflows
- Website content from job boards, employer sites, and application pages where the user runs Applyr
Applyr does not sell this data and does not use it for unrelated advertising.
7. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information, including:
- HTTPS/TLS for data transmitted between the extension and backend
- Authentication and session controls
- Access controls for backend systems
- Secure storage practices for user files and application data
- Encryption or secure handling for sensitive tokens where applicable
- Operational logging and monitoring to detect failures or abuse
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Users should use strong passwords and keep their browser and devices secure.
8. Data Retention
We retain user information for as long as needed to provide Applyr, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.
Retention periods may vary by data type:
- Account data is generally retained while the account is active.
- Profile, resume, queue, and application data is retained until the user deletes it or closes the account, subject to backups and legal requirements.
- Temporary workflow data may be retained for a shorter period.
- Logs and diagnostic records may be retained for security, debugging, and operational reliability.
- Gmail tracking data is retained only as needed to provide the tracking feature and associated application status history.
9. User Choices and Controls
Users may:
- Choose whether to create a profile or upload a resume
- Review detected fields and fill results before submitting applications
- Delete or update profile information
- Remove resumes or generated documents
- Stop or pause application workflows
- Disconnect optional Gmail tracking
- Request account deletion, subject to legal and operational limits
Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited time after deletion.
10. Account Deletion and Data Requests

11. International Users
